Getting hold of somebodyContact The SodaSlim Desk: Which Route Answers Which Question
Two desks stand behind this website and they answer different questions.
Tracking, address changes and refunds are handled on +1 (302) 200-3480 and at contact@customercs.com. The writing on these pages, corrections, privacy requests and press enquiries go to contact@Sodeaslim.com, Mon–Fri 9:00am–5:00pm ET. The editorial address cannot see an order and cannot start a refund.
Sending a parcel question to the editorial address costs a day and ends in a redirection, which is the only reason this page leads with the distinction rather than with an address.
The two SodaSlim desks, side by side
| Orders desk | Editorial desk | |
|---|---|---|
| Telephone | +1 (302) 200-3480 | No telephone line |
| contact@customercs.com | contact@Sodeaslim.com | |
| Hours | As printed on the seller's checkout | Mon–Fri 9:00am–5:00pm ET |
| Handles | Tracking, address changes, cancellations, returns and refunds | The pages on this website, typos, factual corrections, privacy requests, press |
| Cannot do | Change what these pages say | See an order, trace a parcel or issue a refund |
The difference is not bureaucratic. The order desk has the purchase in front of it; this desk has the website.
What to have ready when telephoning about a SodaSlim order
- The order identifier from the confirmation email, which is the only handle anybody has on a purchase.
- The name and email address used at the checkout, in case the identifier cannot be found.
- The tracking number, for anything about a parcel in transit.
- The lot from the base of the bottle, for anything about the stock itself. Current stock is SOD-26/SO-8573.
- The date and amount of the charge, for anything about a line on a card statement.
A call with the identifier takes a couple of minutes. A call without it can usually still be resolved from the name and address used, and it takes considerably longer. The confirmation email is therefore the single document worth keeping for sixty days, and it is the one people reliably delete once the parcel arrives.
How quickly the SodaSlim desks answer, and why they differ
The order desk is a telephone line, so it answers while it is open and resolves most things inside one call. That is the right shape for a question about a parcel, a charge or a refund, all of which turn on a record somebody has to look at while you are on the line.
The editorial address is a mailbox read during office hours by the people who write these pages, Mon–Fri 9:00am–5:00pm ET. A typo is fixed the same day. A factual correction takes longer, because it means going back to the source and often to the label artwork, and a correction made carelessly is worse than the error it replaced.
Neither desk uses a ticket number, an automated assistant or a chat widget, which is a deliberate choice on a website this size. It also means an email that arrives at the wrong address does not get routed automatically, and a redirection costs a working day.
That is the whole argument for the table above, and it is worth thirty seconds of a reader's attention before they write.
Writing to the SodaSlim desk about these pages
Three kinds of message are especially useful and all three are acted on quickly.
A photograph of a back panel. One image of a printed Supplement Facts table would rewrite more of this website than anything else anybody could send, because the amounts it would settle are the axis every ingredient section here is built to work around.
A citation that has been misread. Every source here was checked against its record, and the way that stays true is for somebody to check the checking. A paper attributed to the wrong authors is a serious error even when the conclusion it supports is right.
A sentence that reads as a promise. These pages are written to describe a capsule rather than to sell a result, and a line that has drifted the wrong way is worth hearing about. The address for all three is contact@Sodeaslim.com.
Reaching the SodaSlim desk in writing rather than by telephone
Some things are better written down, and an order query with several moving parts is one of them. A message that sets out the order identifier, the dates involved and what has already been tried can be worked on without anybody having to hold a conversation while reading a screen.
The written route to the order desk is contact@customercs.com. It is slower than the telephone and it produces a record, which is the trade worth making on anything complicated or anything that has already gone round once.
For a refund, the telephone still comes first. A return authorisation is issued on the call and a parcel sent without one waits at the warehouse, so the written route is the place to follow up rather than the place to start.
Whichever route is used, keep the confirmation email. Every conversation on either desk refers back to it.
Where the SodaSlim desk is, and where returns go
| Purpose | Address |
|---|---|
| Office | 950 Third Avenue, Floor 7, New York, NY 10022, USA |
| Returns | 757 Third Avenue, Floor 14, New York, NY 10017, USA |
| Role | Sodeaslim, the U.S. desk for SodaSlim |
| Not | The manufacturer of the capsule |
| Batch behind current stock | SOD-26/SO-8573 / SOD-8573-26-SO |
Returns go to the returns address rather than to the office, and only after a return authorisation has been issued on the telephone.
Ask for the return authorisation before packing anything. A box the warehouse is not expecting can be turned away on the step, and a bottle that crosses the country twice usually lands after the window has shut.
What this SodaSlim desk cannot answer
Three questions arrive regularly and all three have the same honest answer.
How many milligrams of caffeine are in a capsule. Nobody here knows. The label images the seller publishes show the front of the label and the seller's information page gives no figures, so the quantity is known to the manufacturer and to nobody on this side of the bottle. The ingredients page sets out what can be said instead.
Whether the capsule will work for a particular person. That is not a question a retail desk can answer, and the pooled evidence behind these plants describes group averages rather than individual outcomes.
Whether it is safe alongside a particular medicine. The label asks anyone taking medication, pregnant or nursing, sensitive to stimulants, or living with high blood pressure to speak to a physician before use, and that question belongs with the clinician who knows the rest of the picture.
What this desk can do is correct anything on these pages that is wrong, and it would rather hear about an error than have a reader quietly assume the website was right.
