SodaSlim Official Website › The plain position
The plain positionSodaSlim Disclaimer: The Positions This Website Takes
SodaSlim is a dietary supplement rather than a drug. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
It is not FDA-approved and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. What follows sets out what that means for the claims on this website, how the research here was checked, and what this desk has declined to say.
A disclaimer is only useful if a reader can tell what it rules out, so each position below is stated with the consequence attached.
The FDA position on SodaSlim
Dietary supplements in the United States are not approved before sale. Responsibility for safety, and for whatever the carton says, sits with whoever makes the product; the regulator arrives after the fact rather than at the gate.
That is why the four statements on this bottle are structure and function statements. Such statements describe an intended effect on the normal working of the body; they are not claims to treat, cure or prevent anything, and a supplement making the second kind of claim would be regulated as a drug.
The consequence for this website is simple and absolute. The four printed statements are the ceiling for every page here. The FDA publishes its own consumer guidance on this distinction for anyone using supplements, and the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements maintains a plain summary of what the weight-loss ingredient literature supports for consumers.
What results language means on this SodaSlim website
No figure appears anywhere here for how much weight anybody will lose, and none will. The pooled trials behind these five plants report group averages against placebo measured in fractions of a kilogram, in people who were also eating to a plan in the green coffee data, and nothing in that literature supports a number for an individual.
Individual outcomes differ, and the ordinary variables still do most of the work: what a person eats, how they sleep and how much they move. A capsule taken once a day is an addition to those and not a substitute for them.
Timelines on this website are drawn either from published trial lengths or from the distributor's summary of buyer feedback, and each mention says which. Where a page says three to four weeks, that is what buyers on this desk reported before forming a view, not a promise about when anything happens.
How the SodaSlim references were checked
Every PubMed record cited on this website was pulled through the NCBI search and summary endpoints during the build, and the author, journal, year, volume and pages in each entry were transcribed from the record that came back. None of them was written from memory.
Where a trial's dose mattered, and on this bottle it always does, the abstract was read and the figure quoted is the one that trial used. Those figures belong to their trials and never to this capsule.
One cited paper has been retracted. The 2012 green coffee crossover is labelled a retracted publication in the record returned by PubMed, it is cited here with that label attached, and it appears rather than being quietly dropped because a reader who half-remembers the green coffee story is owed the end of it.
Animal work is labelled as animal work. The four raspberry ketone papers cited on this website were all conducted in mice, and no page here translates any of them into a statement about a person.
The SodaSlim label, and what this desk cannot verify
The label images the seller publishes show the front of the label from eight angles. Five plants are named on it and no amount is given for any of them, and the seller's information page describes those plants in prose without figures.
So the position across this website is consistent: the identity of the five ingredients is established, and the quantities are known to the manufacturer and to nobody on this side of the bottle. Where a number is printed here, it belongs to a trial.
There is a second reason to read the bottle rather than any website. An analysis of herbal and dietary supplements implicated in liver injury found their contents frequently did not match their labels in a chemical analysis. A label is the best document available to a buyer and it is not a laboratory report.
If the bottle you receive carries a Supplement Facts panel on the back, it beats every figure on this website. Send a photograph to contact@Sodeaslim.com and these pages will be rewritten around it.
The claims this SodaSlim desk refuses to make
Five of them, each with the reason attached, collected here so the whole list can be read in one place.
That raspberry ketone does anything measurable in a person
Searching PubMed for raspberry ketone against human body weight returns adipocyte work, mouse work and reviews of both. There is no randomised trial of the single compound in people, so there is no human dose, no human timescale and no human result. The ingredient pages say what the animal work found, name the species, and stop there.
That this capsule contains any stated amount of anything
The artwork carries a front panel and no Supplement Facts panel, and the seller's information page describes the plants without giving figures. A number invented here would be the most useful sentence on the website and the least honest, so what appears instead is the amount each published trial gave people.
That the formula works on gut bacteria
The seller's information page frames the product as acting against bacteria that sabotage weight loss. Caffeine, green coffee, raspberry ketone, garcinia and green tea are not probiotics, prebiotics or antimicrobials, and the bottle makes no microbiome claim. It is left where it was found.
That it builds lean muscle or detoxifies anything
Both phrases sit in the seller's bullet list and on no part of the artwork. Whatever the front panel prints is the outer edge of what these pages will say, and those two are well outside it.
A number for how much weight anyone will lose
The pooled trials behind these plants report group averages under a kilogram and a half, measured against placebo, in people who were also eating to a plan. Nothing in that literature supports a figure for an individual, and no figure appears on this website.
The commercial position behind this SodaSlim website
Orders placed through the links here go to the seller's checkout and this desk is compensated for them. That arrangement is stated plainly because a reader weighing a review is entitled to know who pays for it.
What the arrangement does not buy is the content. The refusals above cost sales: a website willing to repeat the seller's gut bacteria framing would convert better than this one. Declining is the only way a page under a brand name is worth reading.
Prices, guarantee terms and contact routes on this website are the seller's, reproduced. The reading of the evidence is this desk's own, and corrections to it are welcome at the editorial address.
